As it's is still in beta, It's full version is expected by the end of December 2017. Meanwhile steemit official mobile application is being built and yet to release in the next two couple of months.
it's nice improvements but.. not enough.. this beta isn't compete with twitter facebook or instegram at all..
they should do drastic move for improve the interface of the client...
i mean.. normal chat, normal blog page... better design.. money isn't everything in social media.. i hope it will happen in december like the @stefen said.

They are improving everything slowly recently they also improved the power down mechanism so yeah expect this to be happen soon :)
