Sticking around

in #steem6 years ago

Hi,

Last week I asked you about ways to improve the price of Steem. There where some pretty good answers, to which of some I agree and to some not. But this is the beauty of it, we can have different ideas and still communicate.

I see some people saying that they are quitting. Mostly it is due to payouts reasons. 2 years ago most made a lot of money in here. This was purely due to the fact that there were fewer accounts. It is basic mathematics that the more people there are in the same or slightly increased reward pool, the less the average gets from it.

With the low payouts most don't post because it does not make sense time wise. I do it because I train myself in writing, even if most it is bad I feel a minor improvement from when I started.

My advice to you is to still stick around, regardless the payout and check the opportunities this blockchain has. It might explode in the near future. We have some interesting games that develop daily, we have different applications that track your fitness and the list can go on.

So my question is, why are you here?

It's easy to be spoiled with all the enthusiasm around the blockchain, but we should not forget that on other places you have to watch lot of ads in order to play free games or for the blogging platforms. Here not only that all is free to use, but you get distributed servers (redundancy of both backend and frontend - steemmonsters / peakmonsters, steemit / busy / partiko / ...), and you are paid in cryptos.
