Another email from Steem INC
Hello,
today morning as I woke up I had a nice surprise in my inbox. There was an email for Steemit Inc.
Well, it is a surprise firstly because Steemit Inc started to communicate more. It was I think the second info mail from Steem Inc, but nevertheless it is a big step forward.
Not only the email, but also the content was surprisingly. The SMTs have been postponed to 2020, which is alright, we need the SMTs and they need to be developed.
I hope with the introduction of SMTs, Steem will not be paid anymore out and the ongoing flagging madness that is today will stop.
I mean, it will continue at the community/SMT level, but it is not going to hunt so many people down from the platform.
I think the SMTs will offer many more possibilities, even more than the ones from steem engine and the introduction might increase the value of Steem. We are living challenging times, especially for the crypto market and Steem got hit very hard. Besides some cool applications like the games I don't see clear ways to increase the value. The sheriffs in here don't do a good job, as they are not trying to bring new people but hunt the existing down.
With SMTs, each community can make their own rule in a world without rules. I like Steem that it does not have any rule, even if some people try to impose their vision on others.
In conclusion I think it is good that with SMTs we are moving in the right direction.
