My Predictions for 2017
I am not a clearvoyant, but I am working on it. Here are my predictions for 2017:
Angela "Mutti" Merkel a.k.a. Stasi-IM Erika (picture: WikiCommons)
1. Angela Merkel will resign as chancellor of Germany, after having lost the federal election in September. The only chance for her party CDU to stay in power (which is the only thing that keeps that party together) is to form a coalition with the right wing AfD. Their condition is: only without Mutti.
2. Italy will default and drop out of the Eurozone.
3. The Bitcoin price will hit the 3000 US dollar mark by the end of the year.
4. Steem will reach 5 US dollars by the end of the year.
5. Keith Richards will survive.
Don't ask me how I came to these predictions. Some may be wishful thinking, some I would rather not see to come true.
The good thing about Steemit: I will not be able to cheat. They will be saved in the Steem blockchain forever.
So let's check out by December 2017 how many of them will be true.

maybe he is a day trader and believe, that in short term price of steem will be even lower? Or maybe he just want to manipulate us :)
None of your business. I don't know why Steem publishes account data, that's a private matter and it should stay private.
It's just stored in the blockchain. Is visible for everyone.

Well that's the blockchain. Everything is written on the chain, just as Bitcoin does
In Bitcoin transactions are pseudonymous and they should rather be anonymous, as Z-Cash does it. The fact that Steem shows the transactions openly is a severe flaw that needs to be corrected.
Imho flag is unjust. @twinners question is legit.

True, it's not twinner's fault that private matters such as account movements are made public in Steemit. It's a grave breach of privacy and should be abolished a.s.a.p. I can do with my Steem whatever I want and I do not have to justify that to anyone.
Noone is questioning that... I think you did a lot of good things for steemit (that has had it´s cost as well). Roeland is powering down for his servers. That´s totally legit, too.
No need for "justification", too ... but the question still is interesting: 5$ prediction but still powering down. Smells like an interesting story. I would have asked that into your face, too, if you told me so in a pub or so...
Sure, I would tell you in a private conversation. Actually there is not much I can say about it. But if the lack of financial privacy on Steemit continues, my prediction will certainly not become true.
dogecoin will take over wall street, a doge statue will be placed outside the NYSE and all US bonds will be paid in doges..

Any predictions about Poland (my home country)? :)
Many Germans would like to emigrate to your country but will be sent home because of their poor language skills ;-)
Don't get me wrong, but I doubt :P
Germans perceive Poland as country with lower status, so if that would happen, then it would have to mean, that German would go much worse or Poland just great. It would be interesting, but in my opinion this is very unlikely to happen.
Poland will be a much safer place to live than Germany in the near future.
Interesting predictions. But Angela Merkel will not lose the elections in 2017. She will resign due to illness in summer. Together with Donald in the white house and Le Pen or Fillon in the Elysee Palace governing Germany doesn't make her fun anymore. Her illness is her emergency exit.
Nothing against 3, 4 and 5!
It would be great if Steem got closer to $100!
