I studied it too and decided not to do anything with it yet. All whitnesses had high scores etc etc etc and then I noticed their upvoting had to be adjusted downwards already due to many votes (sounds familiar!). I prefer actnearn but there can be more goodies of course.
Well they have been around for 10 days. They will find a balance at some point. You have to buy in to the mission of finding and curating worthwhile content. If you just look at it as an upvote service, then yeah, there are more lucrative options out there at the moment. But if you are playing the long game, being part of UA could be a very long term payout.
