First Steem Saturday in South Africa
Myself @spartanza and @simplyshad were fortunate enough to have been invited to attend the dinner on Friday evening which was a little get together hosted by QuadroIT at the Chiefs Boma Restaurant, Indaba Hotel, Fourways, Johannesburg.
We met the co-founder of Steemit, Ned Scott @ned and even though he had just arrived and seemed very tired he entertained our conversations and I think he was taken aback at our combined knowledge and understanding of the potential that blockchain has to fix a variety of African challenges. Its only when you realize that you have a problem that you are open to receive the answers to fix those problems.
We also met an unexpected visitor covering the event, the Bitcoin Meister @bitcoinmeister Really love his work and think we need more people like him spreading the coin ;) Buy BTC and Hold!
Awesome event and a great thanks to @jacor, @naomi.louise, @gavvet and the QuadroIT team for putting it all together.

The Agenda and speakers
Was fantastic to meet with people who are breaking grounds for a new social change at all levels.
Oh I wish I could attend. My brother @jacor and my sister in law @naomi.louise could not stop talking about the event for weeks. I am so glad that it was a great success and that everyone achieved what they set out to achieve! Funny seeing a picture of my brother here on Steemit. So used to no knowing what everyone looks like. Glad to see some faces to connect to the names!
It was a fantastic dinner on Friday and a great #Steem-Saturday the next day. Well done to everyone involved. What a great success!
