STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME CONTEST - DAY 8 ROUND 2 - 400 STEEM Prize Pool So Far
Whatever happened with that weed anyway?
In our last round, the teams suddenly became surrounded by a field of Stinging Nettle. The tall swaying, stinging plants were making our teams itch and burn.
Having limited options, the teams had to choose wisely.
DAY 8 ROUND 1 RESULTS
It looks like all three of our remaining teams chose to eat the plant and explore any other uses that it may have.
Stinging Nettle is a super-healthy plant that can be eaten raw as well. The best way to neutralize the "stingers" is to crush and roll the leaves, so that the juices of the plant negate the potential threat of the stingers. The plant also has some great stimulating properties, so it can almost be like enjoying an energy drink and a vitamin pill at the same time!
As the teams examined the plants and considered how they may be able to use it, they found out that they could make some very strong cordage from it, just like @papa-pepper in the video above.
For the next few hours the teams just snacked on this healthy treat and made feet and feet (or meters and meters) of nettle rope. Who knows when they may need it, but supplies like this can be hard to come by. Now each remaining team got to enjoy another meal and they have rope to spare! Most importantly, they did not die, which is good because 400 STEEM is a lot of STEEM to lose out on...
DAY 8 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
The wounds from the barbed wire are starting to pus and ooze. On the bright side, their bodies are trying to combat the infection. In this world full of no promises, things are starting to look a little grim. The teams are feeling better after enjoying all the Stinging Nettle, but the growing infection is even starting to make their joints ache. They must try to do something soon.
As the teams move farther out of the patch of Stinging Nettles, they notice a few more plants. Could one of these be used to fight the inflammation and bacterial infection? If they do not do something soon, the results may be grim. Here are the plants to choose from.

I thought stinging nettle was bad back home, but here in the US this stuff is HUGE and really, really stingy!
