Introducing Play-Along-Pocalypse!

Want to play STEEM-POCALYPSE but missed out on the sign-up? Want to play but you're not sure about the rules and would like to learn how to play in a less competitive setting? (Or are you shy and don't want to learn in front of so many players?) Have you already been killed off in STEEM-POCALYSE but would like to keep playing? (Are you still alive in the current season of STEEM-POCALYPSE but want to goof around with your fellow players some more?)

Well I have a treat for you!

Alongside Season 6 of STEEM-POCALYPSE, I'll be hosting Play-Along-Pocalypse. You don't have to sign up for it. If you die during gameplay, you will be informed of your death and the reason for it, but allowed to continue playing.

Why am I doing this?

To help people get used to the rules of STEEM-POCALYPSE and practice playing in what will most likely be a much smaller game with a much smaller audience.

Asking questions, roleplaying/writing, strategic discussions, and interaction between players are all highly encouraged.

I will be using the actual game posts from Season 6 of STEEM-POCALYPSE, so you'll be playing the same scenarios as the current season of the official STEEM-POCALYPSE game.

This is just a fun way to play along and learn how to play the game in a much more relaxed atmosphere.

Instead of listing the players still alive and the players that have died after every round, I will be posting a list of players that followed the rules/instructions correctly on the previous game post.

At this point in time, I do not plan on having a prize-pool, as there will be no winner(s) to this game.

I have already secured @papa-pepper's permission to host this event. It'll go live when the official game goes live.

Hi, my name is @papa-pepper and I approve this idea!

Thanks for posting your approval! That makes it feel all official and shiny and such!

Was this your own original idea? Good :) I've dropped out on Day 3 at Season 4 and Day 2 at season 5. I'll give it another try with Season 6.

Yeah. It was inspired by how many people seem to want to join but also seem too shy to actually participate.

So I wanted to give them a place where they can learn how to play the game correctly, ask as many questions as they need to, and interact more freely. I'll still be "enforcing" the rules of the game. But in a manner that allows them to learn from their mistakes and hopefully have fun doing so.

Raises hand. Shy one here! Last few weeks - I just can't seem to just jump in...lol.

Then this is the game for you!

That's awesome that you are doing this. I'm sure I'll join the ranks soon! Even cooler is that you are personally putting up a 500 SBD prize. That's really cool if you!

Uh huh. Nice try. No prize pool. :P

People are gonna be aggravated that you cancelled the price pool! 🤤

You do know that @papa-pepper runs it right? :S

Yes, this is an alt game though. Plus I'm messing with him. :}

Anyone that pays any attention will know there wasn't one in the first place.

:P

Last time I try to joke around... lol

Joking is fine. Money is a painful topic though.

If I had the means to have decent prize pools, I would. Hell, maybe my contests and community might've actually been successful if I had that ability.

Steemit is my only income, and it's not much of one.

Bro living of steem would be hard for me. Have you thought about setting up a bot or something to start bringing money in?

Pretty much anything you can ask if I've thought of, I've already thought of and either it didn't pan out or I'm still currently working on it.

Great idea @NovaAtebatman should be a lot of fun.

I'll play both!

I'm joining you playing both
