Okay, I've been reading and reading some more.

This could mean:

Option 1: water purification tablets contain iodine - may be safe
Option 2: swim in the ocean - may not be safe
Option 4: washing with salt water at the shore - may be safe. I don't know if boiling it using firestarters makes it completely safe.
