I think all spams are bad but in the case of some very new users I warn them that this behaviour will not bode well for them. If I get a reasonable response I don't flag. The rest, will they can get flagged for all I care!
Good point , I agree with you.
I guess while sending you message you should check if user DOES understand English. There are a lot of people here which don't know and understand English. They can just copy somebody's comment and post it everywhere.
Unfortunately, we all come here from different platforms where follow for follow is normal. It might be just a bad habit is brought from previous life
When I came to Steemit I did the same my first few days and if you would downvote me then, I wouldn't be here now
Ah but I would have warned you if you were new and you might have seen countless posts saying that was spamming ;0)
As for the English thing I am sure like I do when faced with another language I just pop it in Google translate .
