SteemBlog is a web app that displays the posts of a user on steem. But very helpful if you want to have a blog running on a personal domain with custom styles and scripts using the steem blockchain as database.

Future tasks:

- Personal configuration of blog using files on steem.
- Tools section to vote, comment, upload files with minimalistic wallet.

Being able to move your blog out to your own domain is going to be huge for some bloggers (in terms of adoption). I'm glad to see you taking on the challenge and getting involved ;)
One thing you might want to give some thought to in how you're building it though is SEO. With a long page load, and a client-side only script to power it, search engines might have a hard time indexing that content. When we were building Reprint late last year that was one of the more important things we tried to focus on, and why we choose to use a server-side language instead of just javascript. Having the pages rendered out immediately is a huge boon to SEO.
Other features you could give some thought on too are themes, combining multiple authors, and tag filtering.
Thanks for the feedback! Having a good SEO is one of many of the challenges I have ahead, and you are right, maybe is the most important one.
I love it! i was thinking of doing something like this from when Steem first launched, but kept getting distracted. Glad to see it brought into existence!

Commenting to save this post. I do wonder what way this service could be built to satisfy the most non technical people as they still need to buy domain and use hosting service? If all of these steps could be taken care of by this service, that could be huge.. But that is my uneducated guess.
You are right, the domain will need to be bought by the blogger, but it will be only to change the url to redirect to http://steemitblog.com/#/?user=USERNAME, the hosting service will be only to buy the domain and redirect the DNS, a user can do it without touching any code. :)

Yes it can, you can add your custom class now on the styles, but you will have to build it form source, I have plans to add a post publisher to publish plain html with custom styles on posts, making a more powerful post publisher/editor than the ones we use here :).
