How does Steem Bounty works for content creators?

Outside of Steem Bounty website

1. Post your article using any of your preferred editor like https://steemit.com, https://www.steempeak.com, https://busy.org, etc.

2. Go to your wallet and transfer the bounty or reward amount to @steem-bounty, either Steem or SBD. Minimum amount is 0.50 Steem or its equivalent amount in SBD. When transferring the bounty, make sure that you put in the memo field the link of your post that you want to put bounty on.
   

3. Click Next button to complete the transfer. After few minutes, Steem Bountywill put a comment on your post with the bounty. It looks something like this.
   
   
   

   Within Steem Bounty website

   1. Go to https://steem-bounty.com.

   2. On the upper right corner of the screen, click on the human icon to log in.
      

   3. It will give you options to log in, whether via SteemConnect or manually. Take your pick.
      

   4. Once you are logged in, click on the Edit button showing a pencil at the upper right side of the screen.
      

   5. Create your post on the content editor.
      

   6. Below the editor, put the amount of bounty reward that you want to allocate for the post. Again, minimum amount is 0.50 Steem or its equivalent SBD value. Click Post button.
      
      Note: At this point when you click Post button, your article will be posted even if you do not confirm the following step (# 7) for the bounty allocation. It will be populated to all other Steem platform like Steemit.com, Steempeak.com, Busy.org,etc..

   7. SteemConnect will ask you to confirm the operation.
      

   8. Once you have confirmed the operation, the bounty reward will be allocated and you post will appear on the Steem Bounty website. To check what you just created, scroll to below the screen to see the latest bounties.
      
      
      
      Once your post is up and running with the bounty reward, upvote good quality comments on your post. This is how active respondents will be rewarded. The higher your upvote percentage, the higher reward the respondent will get.

      

      How does Steem Bounty works for active respondents?

      1. Go to https://steem-bounty.com.
      2. Look for articles that of your interest. For easy references, the articles are grouped according to the following:
      • Biggest bounties
      • Expiring soon
      • Latest bounties
        
        
        

       3. Leave good quality top-level comments on your selected articles. Note that only top-level comments will count be considered for the bounty. Replies to comments will not be included.

       4. If your top-level comment was upvoted by the content author, you get a share of the bounty reward after the post payout. You will receive the reward directly in your wallet with a message that is something like this.

      

      How is Steem Bounty reward allocated for the respondents?

      1. At the end of the post payout, Steem Bounty will automatically compute for the rewards of the respondents with upvoted top-level comments.
      2. The higher the upvote percentage from the content author, the higher reward percentage the respondent will get. Two percent of the share will be coming from upvotes of others aside from the content author.
      3. Steem Bounty will reply to its original comment on the original post with the breakdown of allocated rewards as to how much is given to whom.
      4. If there was no top-level comment that was upvoted by the author, the allocated bounty reward less 10% will be refunded to the content author. The 10% deduction is something like Steem Bounty's "service fee."
