STEAMPUNK FOR DUMMIESLa primera vez que vi el steampunk fue en un foro de Internet en el que hablaban de creaciones al mejor estilo de julio Verne, uno de mis libros favoritos es veinte-mil leguas de viaje submarino,por lo que ver ropa, armas y accesorios inspirados en ese submarino a vapor que parecía un tren y a la vez un pez era simplemente genial, así que, enamorada de esta movida me puse a investigar. El steampunk es una visión de lo que seria el futuro para todos esos escritores como Julio Verne con tecnología a vapor en una Inglaterra victoriana piensa en algo viejo pero que a la vez sea nuevo para esa época como mochilas cohetes impulsadas por vapor o una prótesis de brazos hechas con el metal de los trenes y que funcionen con válvulas de presión a vapor, es algo nuevo para la época victoriana que se vera viejo para nosotros y básicamente eso es el steampunk, tecnología retrofuturista. Al principio esto solo era un género literario sacado del Ciberpunk (mas adelante hablare de este otro género ) que influyo en cultura,arte y moda. Actualmente todo se engloba como un movimiento o estilo, llegando a tener millones de fanáticos al rededor del mundo. Lo mejor del steampunk es que lo puedes adaptar a cualquier personaje de videojuegos, cómics, terror, películas, series e incluso se puede aplicar a otros estilos.


Bueno, este es mi primer post y todavía estoy descubriendo como funciona esta plataforma para mostrar mi trabajo que espero que les guste. <3


STEAMPUNK FOR DUMMIES The first time I saw the steampunk was in an Internet forum where they talked about creations in the style of July Verne, one of my books favorite is twenty thousand leagues of submarine travel, so to see clothes, weapons and accessories inspired by that steam submarine that looked like a train and at the same time a fish was just great, so, in love with this move I started to investigate. The steampunk is a vision of what the future would be like for all those writers like Jules Verne with steam technology in a Victorian England think of something old but at the same time new for that time like rockets backpacks driven by steam or a prosthesis of arms made with the metal of the trains and that work with steam pressure valves, is something new for the Victorian era that will look old for us and basically that is the steampunk, retrofuturist technology. At first this was just a literary genre taken from Cyberpunk (I'll talk about this other genre later) that influenced culture, art and fashion. Currently everything is included as a movement or style, reaching millions of fans around the world. The best thing about steampunk is that you can adapt it to any character in video games, comics, horror, movies, series and even can be applied to other styles.
