STEEM Power Up vs Power Down
This is 10 months of data collected
This data is the total amount of Powering Up and then subtracting the total amount of Powering Down. If the total is positive, then there was more powering up than powering down. If the total was negative, then there was more powering down than there was powering up for that day.
The interesting take away are:
- You can clearly see that the overall powering up is higher than the powering down
- There is a substantial increase in the daily amount of power up that has taken place over that last month and a half
- The total of Power Up/Down has gone negative only three times in the last month and a half.

Do you see this as a sign that people think the value will go up. They save it for the better future. Because in other ways people want to power down and sell??
Well there is an insane amount of cheap steem on the market right now so there’s an incentive for people like us who are active to pick up more!
Still a long road thought around 18million dollars worth of steem needs to be locked away for us to look at having $1 value again
