Knowing fully well that as an artist, there is reward for your content is something that really gladdens the heart. This is not the first platform offering such opportunity. #Soundcloud did it first, but the issue with them is that they are not #decentralized and it lacks #censorship. These days, everybody wants a free and fair system, a platform were they can air their view, a system where they are free like a bird.

If you are familiar with the #steem blockchain, you should be familiar with #dsound. For those who are not familiar with it, follow me as I explain what this great media dapps offers.

I have always hinted it, features has always served as the selling point of any great project. I will throw light on the features I listed above.

i. #Feed: With this feature, you will be able to see sound content, that has been shared by all users/#dsounders. For those who want to upvote any sound post, they can easily go there and will see it all.

ii. #New: Just like your feed, #new allows you to see sound content that were just shared. Simply put, this features shows you new sound content.

iii. #hot: This features allows you to see those #sound content that were uploaded not long ago, but were already trending i.e the #sound content is already receiving good upvote being from the community bot or other #dsounders

This great service has been the selling point when it comes to the blockchain. #Dsound is not left out on this, they ensure that your #sound content is voted with their community bot if the #sound content meets with their requirement. After making the post, drop the link in their discord post promotion group.

• Mind you, you must make the post through the #Dsound dapp if you want to stand a chance of getting a vote from the community bot.

HOW TO GET STARTED ON DSOUND

To enjoy #dsound dapp, you have to first of all register on the steem blockchain. You can do that by visiting steemit.com. At the top right-hand corner, click it and click sign up. Wait for your keys, it might take days or weeks.

Assuming your registration is complete, log in to the #dsound media dapp, input your posting keys and username. It will log you in.

To make a post on #Dsound, after logging in, click the mark at the top, it will show you the post page. The is well explained.

First of all, click on the #drag and #drop page, post the #sound there.

Secondly, Click the #cover page, drop your cover page pictures and then proceed to the third part.

Thirdly, fill in the #sound title, and the #sound #description.

Now go to the next part, choose the music genre, e.g podcast, cover, mash up, etc.

#Dsound has their discord group. This group has so many sub channels. One that caught my attention is this, it has a support channel where I can easily share my issue and get it sorted out with ease. This is such a wonderful media platform I must say.

Secondly, I must say, I am really happy with their channel group for sound content. For example, after making your sound post, go to the #Dsound group and share you content there, with that you can be rewarded by the community bot

Dislike

One issue I noticed here is that when I make a post, sometimes it will takes longer time than expected for it to display my cover picture. This should be sorted out, it seems it always take time to synchronize with the steem blockchain, I am not a programmer, that might be the issue.

Lastly, #Dsound at this stage needs more features that will see them competing with other great media dapps out there. I want to see greater additions, if at all, we need #Dsound mobile, and we also need #dsound having their own token.

Final Verdict

#Dsound has won the heart of those into sound, as the reward service they are offering, has been top-notch. Will loves to see more support (delegate) running from the community into them. I will give this great dapp 4/5 for such a great service they are rendering to the steem blockchain.
