The platform of Steem Blockchain is designed the way users can be a part of it in every way possible. Be that it may by blogging, vlogging, gaming, image sharing and many more. For those who just likes to share their magical moments with others then STEEPSHOT is the perfect choice for you.
Let's get to know about Steepshot
While there are two ways to access Steepshot. One is via Mobile app and other is via Web. They have officially launched both the iOS & Android version for users. While I am using the Web Version today for the rest of the post. The UI is quite easy to access and I liked the way they have made an intro video attached to the Homepage. The users will get a nice idea what they are getting into.
While to log in a user will have be use the Private Posting Key. Which will be safe for users in terms of security and assurance of their funds.
Once a user is logged in liked the image below the inetreface willbe according to the people that you follow. Now lets get to see what a user can do in Steepshot. Liked the black bracket(symbol) on a post (on the heart section) that is the voting button if you are willing to vote on a post. Once you hover over that for a second or two the voting slider will appear and you can decide which percentage you can vote for . The search option above does really works nice and that is a nice addition to the site.
Now coming to the WALLET page. Here you will be able find your Steem Account Balance, what is your current account worth all of it is indeed available out in here. The UI is simple which makes it easy to get an eye on.
Lets head onto the settings option where a user can find the to subscribe the Push notifications for Comment, Upvote, Upvote Comment, Follow,Post. Select which notifications you would like to get notified about and save it, as easy as that.
The final part, which is the creating a post. Just click on the Create Post tag on the upper right corner and the UI like the image below will appear on your screen. Upload the image that you have selected, once that is done you input the Title of your post and below on the Tag section use the tags that you wnat for your post. Now this is important because by the tags your posts get determined on which category your post will fall into. Now in the description write down what you have to say for the image, the smaller the better.
So coming to the pros and cons of the Steepshot. Let's start with the Pros. The site is easily accessible by webpage. The important links of Github,Discord,Telegram & Playstore are also available in case any one needs any kind of help.
Lets get to the part where they can fix some things for better improvement of the site (aka Cons)
The first that that really annoyed me was the broken link of downloading the Android version of the app. (This is a huge mistake for this site, please fix it ASAP) the next thing is the helpful links that are provided on the site, as soon as one gets to access it the whole page loads and the links go down and the user has to scroll again to get it it would be great if a new section be introduced like help/FAQ would be nice for users.
After going through all the instructions and the DApp I would like to say that as a Steem user this is one of the best site to get incentive for the content that you are sharing and unlike Twitter/Facebook you will not just share your content but you will get rewarded in the form of Steem tokens in here. Which makes it interesting to use, no censorship and nothing to stop you in here. Be free and in that process earn along with it.
