3-10th place $25; paid in equivalent steem dollars; plus 25% of gains if there were any. (There weren't. We had to invest money back in in order to pay out; but learned a few things about SteemIt.) Plus SBD earned directly to participants by driving new followers (As the main thrust for the promotion, this paid SBD directly to drive new followers to artists and help harness SteemIt's potential.)
