A sad day for comic book fans

If you have not seen the breaking news all over Social media and Media outfits then you would have not known that Stan "The Man" Lee has passed away.

The person together with Jack Kirby brought forth a lot of the beloved characters that we love today.

He is credited in breathing into life the likes of Spider Man, Doctor Strange, The Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and of course the iconic X-Men together with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.

He is also instrumental in helping Larry Lieber with Ant-Man, Iron Man and Thor.

During the Golden and Silver age of comics going head to head with DC there were several instances of both companies apparently stealing the concept of their characters but some were better in Marvel and some with DC.

I remember as a kid while reading X-Men of that feeling of being different and yet seeing these characters struggle and be successful in their fight for acceptance made me feel it wasn't that bad.

To Stan Lee, thank you sir for entertaining a lot of us when we were struggling and needed some comfort.

We saw it in the characters you created and the stories they were in.
