Piango per la mia terra.
Varese da circa tre giorni è sotto assedio. Un vasto incendio è scoppiato Mercoledì verso l'ora di pranzo nel Parco regionale del Campo dei Fiori. Quasi sei ettari sono letteralmente scomparsi. Le cause sono dovute al clima molto più secco del normale e al vento.
I soccorsi sono arrivati subito dopo con molte squadre dei vigili del fuoco, della protezione civile e di altri volontari. Addirittura un Canadair giunto da Genova è giunto in aiuto per placare questo inferno. La zona dell’incendio, però, dopo qualche ora si è allargata considerevolmente e la colonna di fumo era chiaramente visibile dalla città.
Basta poco per modificare la realtà.
Oltre ad una porzione magnifica ed incantata della mia terra, stanno bruciando anche tanti ricordi. Pomeriggi spesi a guardare il lago dall'alto. Osservando le luci della città di notte. Pensando a quanto siamo piccoli.
Sono in lutto.
Ho saputo questa mattina degli incendi a Varese. Non ne sapevo nulla pur vivendo in provincia
Purtroppo ho saputo anche io da fonti esterne vivendo a Venezia.
È una tragedia. Si sa nulla delle cause? Voglio dire che mi sembra impossibile che una cicca gettata in terra da un demente possa scatenare uno scempio simile. Al sud, se n’e parlato tutta l’estate, si tratta sempre di dolo, anche se con motivazioni complicate da definire.
Purtroppo penso siano dovute al clima.
