Hello everyone, today we’re bringing you words from the STACH community majorly known for our vision to decentralize the offline. This post is initiated by the measure of care we have for the members of this amazing community. So we’ve decided onboarding isn’t enough and now we want to add some activities that will help reward the creative commons.

Introducing The Stach-dsw Contest.

The STACH Discord Spoken Word Contest is a weekly community participatory program that will be done on the STACH Discord server.

As you are aware, Steemit is a proof of brain blockchain platform. It basically means that you are rewarded for your creativity. As you are also aware, it’s quite difficult receiving the reward you deserve for your creativity, due to steem power not been available and difficulty getting whales to see your blog. We have decided to start a spoken word program open to all and sundry to enable us to reward creativity.

What to expect.

STACH Discord Spoken word (Stach-dsw) contest is the first of its kind, a place to come and share with like minds your creativity, also a place for active community participation, engagement and networking.

How it works.

This contest is quite simple. Every week a post would be dropped before 11 am GMT+1 containing the theme of the contest. Participants are to come up with a poem or a short story using this theme. Then during the show, contestants are to introduce themselves, tell us what the theme means to them and share your entry on voice. Each contestant has 3 mins to do all this.

Yes!!! You have to read it for us to hear.

Note that you are not allowed to post this your entry for the contest until after the show, and Stach-dsw and Stach have to be your first and second tag respectively.

We will also be running a giveaway session during the show where Whaleshares, Bitshares, SBD’s and Byte ball will be won and this will only be possible during the Stach-dsw show.

How to participate.

Participation is quite simple, just follow these few steps.

• Resteem this post.
• Get your entry ready
• Join us on STACH Discord.
• Be there at 8 pm Nigerian time that is GMT + 1
• Get a Bitshares account.
• Get a byte ball account, If you don't have one, use this link to create one.
• Head over to Curation-Lounge and indicate if you will be contesting or participating.
• It will be a voice and text session so do well to mute your mic and be ready to contribute intelligently.

Prizes.

The winner of the show gets 5sbd as a reward.

We have also made some plans to reward every active member on STACH discord. With this plan, we will be paying a little bit more attention to users who contribute positively to our discord channel on daily basis by interacting with other users and making new friends.
This will take place at the end of every day. Users who interacted the most will be rewarded with upvotes, SBD’s or STEEM.
