The sun came out, so I made some burgers #showmeyourburger
Im sure I may have said this once or twice.... BUT IT ALWAYS RAINS IN WALES.
So when that big burning ball of gas does decide to make an appearance, we go crazy and get all summary!!
The padding pool comes out, we get the sun tan lotion out, we light up the bbq and have a party. Now admittedly it may only be 16/18*c, but that's practically tropical weather for us.
Please try not to judge my burger too harshly, it was a last minute thing as, like I said, good weather doesn't come around to offten.
How to make WELSHIES boring burgers(for 2 people) :
1- finally dice 1/3 of an onion
2- salt, pepper, secret ingredient of mixed herbs and spices
3- 250g of high quality mice beef (make 2 X 1/4lb)
4- everything in a big bowl and get your hands in. Squeeze, mix, blend everything together.
5- remove from bowl and split 50/50
6- form in to 2X burger patties and put in the fridge for 10 minutes.
7- once charcoal is ready, get cooking
8- don't keep turning, let the bbq work its magic. Hot coals = bbq'ed out side but tender in the middle.
9- add a good quality mature cheese. Don't be tight with the cheese, you'll thank me later.
10- go to your vegetable patch and pick some lettuce leaf
11- Sesame seed topped bun, with lashings of ketchup, garlic and burger sauce......
So that's it. Sometimes, something so simple, can be so satisfying!!
What did Samual L Jackson say in Pulp Fiction? ‘Mmmm, now that is a tasty burger!’. Reckon he would say that about yours. It sure looks good.
As long as that's all he says.... I don't want him to "put a cap in my ass".
