Splinterlands - Focusing on a single account is more profitable now
After closing down @herons-unlimited and analyzing the updates we've had over time to our favorite TCG, it is clear both botting and multiple accounts are not the best option anymore.
Right now, the only real way to focus on profit is striving to become a champion-level player and/or winning as many tournaments of all levels as often as we can. Low level tournaments are mandatory for newer players who want to actually get some cashback for the $10 summoner's spellbook.
The good part of this is more cards will be combined so they will generally become more valuable. Specially untamed cards now that there are untamed-focused tournaments (no alphas or betas allowed).
Those who have been hoarding untamed cards (if anyone has been doing that) have a really good short-term future down the line. Beta and alpha hoarders will be required to invest further - which should be acceptable since no investment is supposed to make everyone rich and last forever.
