Nigeria played Seychelles yesterday and even though i didn't watch it but i was able to catch up with the highlights.

I knew the match should end in Nigeria's favour but i just couldn't pick what the scoreline would be. As big as Nigeria were expected to be, trust me i expected us to win bigger than 3-0. They tried, did what they were supposed to do, but we can do better.

I was a firm supporter of having this coach stay on because we at least need that consistency in our technical areas and now that we have it, i think the play should improve better than this.

Another match i was able to catch up with was England v Spain. I was particularly impressed with how England played. They bossed Spain around and i expected that because i have never seen Luis Enrique as a top coach. It was so evident to see as England played better than them and England were controversially denied a late equaliser, which wouldn't habe mattered had it been Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane buried the glorious chances they spurned. England should have been clearly out of sight, but no!.

Spain edged it 2-1 but England played better and they deserved more. I was happy when Welbeck equalized only for it to be ruled as an infringement on De Gea who was smart and at the same time lied about being injured from a cross he clearly flaunted.
