Spring brings pristine landscape for those who dare to appreciate it

Last week I visited my native village and found a crystal clear environment away from the hustle bustle of the cities.

The people were very warm hearted and had plenty of time for gossips and idle sitting.

I went for a walk to my ancestral agricultural fields where much of my childhood had passed. I noticed that spring has come with renewed vigor and beauty as ever. Everything was neat and clean and young budding of plants were popping out with much energy and freshness.

Mustard flowers were so cute with its trademark yellow flowers which add so much to the beauty of landscape. They attract honeybees and are also very useful to extract oil which is very healthy for human body.

Tiny flowers of different colors were so much fascinating to look at them. They were having space by force on sidewalks of the fields.

The old mango tree still shows vigor and strength when spring comes to visit it. Once it was was healthy and lush green with dense foliage when we were kids. We (my cousins) had spent so many hot summer days beneath the dense shadow of the old mango which was planted by my grandfather. Now It has less foliage yet it has much to offer.

I found lush green fields of wheat at peak in the season. The fields were full grown and waiting for warm sunny days to come and ripen the wheat husk.

The garlic fields were also in the process of maturity. Garlic is very healthy when used while cooking and it a must in our traditional dishes.
