I knew spring was coming but still...

The seasons are well known and I knew that once the winter was over the sprint will arrive. What caught me by surprise was the magnolia tree that came with the sprint.

Since the first time I saw the magnolia trees I somehow decided that I was going to plant one in the garden of my house. By then I was living in the city and planting this kind of tree was far from practical.

At the end of last year we got the keys to our new place and we have been really happy living in this house ever since.

To my surprise I started to realize that the tree in the garden was indeed a magnolia tree. I still cannot believe how lucky I am to have my favorite tree and not having to wait years to enjoy the shadows underneath.

The blossoms will last only a week or so, but still is one more week to enjoy the beauty that nature gave us. A true special gift.
