Picking the Philadelphia 76ers Over the Denver Nuggets
(Odds for the Philadelphia 76ers moneyline is currently around 1.45.)
Something that stands out right away about this game is the glaring difference between the Denver Nuggets' road record and the Philadelphia 76ers' home record. The Denver Nuggets are 13-23 on the road and the Philadelphia 76ers are a very good 24-11 at home. While the Denver Nuggets are trying to win in order to make the Western Conference playoffs, the Philadelphia 76ers are trying to win in order to get home field in the first round.
The Philadelphia 76ers are the hotter team as they currently have a 6 game winning streak. The 76ers won the first meeting with the Nuggets by 5 in Denver. The Denver Nuggets are 3-3 in their last 6 games and currently have a 2 game winning streak.
I'm leaning towards picking the Philadelphia 76ers mostly because the Sixers are playing at home, where they are dominant, and because they have a 6 game winning streak. What does worry me though is that the Denver Nuggets are probably the team more desperate for a win, so if the Philadelphia 76ers don't match the Nuggets' intensity, my pick could be in trouble.
Despite this worry, my pick is the Philadelphia 76ers moneyline.
(Game starts in about 1 hour 4 minutes.)
nice call indeed, and like that you don't have to post that "losing picks" FYI at the end of your articles now, you're on a true roll.
Thanks. The Boston Celtics crazy 100-99 comeback win over the Thunder on March 20 still hurts though.
Hey John and tenhanger! I think y’all will be interested in a new sports-related crypto social network my team is launching. Check out our whitepaper here:

nice, but unless it's up and running where we can post stuff NOW, not interested in money-raisings and whitepapers. But DO let us know when it's operational.
Until then, check out our rare punt-of-the-night which is a spread bet... (or if you just like reading NBA stuff)...

We've got a private testnet running right now, and plan to have a public testnet that users can try out by the end of April. Our goal is to have our mainnet operational in time for the World Cup this summer. I'll message you once our public testnet goes live.
I think you'll find the concept pretty interesting though, so I encourage you to check out the whitepaper. Our reward algorithm incorporates not just the upvotes a post gets, but also the odds associated with the pick touted in the post. This gives every poster and voter a stake in the outcome of the event they are discussing. On our platform, the post you linked to would result in you having a direct stake in the Timberwolves covering the 6 point spread.
Ahh, LIKE what we're hearing. We'll be excited to check it out.
Until then... Villanova and the city of brotherly shove...
