One of the prettiest cricket grounds in the world, Adelaide Will be hosting it's 4th day-night test between the hosts Australia and Pakistan. Pakistan faced a humiliating defeat in the first test match. But Pakistan have done reasonably well while playing a pink ball in the recent past. They showed it against Australia A in the warm up match. Adelaide pitch does have something for the bowlers and Pakistani bowlers have been good with the pink ball but it is their batsmen who are a cause of their worry. Australia, last played a test match at Adelaide without Steve Smith, Warner and Bancroft and it was Australia's first test after these players were banned.

Australia were very clear with their playing 11 for 2nd test as Justin Langer said that there was no point in changing a winning combination. Tim Paine said in a press conference that Bancroft and Pattinson have already been released to play domestic cricket while Neser was kept as a reserve player for a possible concussion replacement.

Pakistan on the other hand didn't open up fully about their playing 11, however, Azhar Ali did give some hints which directed towards the possible playing 11. He said that Naseem Shah has suffered with mental and physical pressure hinting towards the fact that he might miss out. Ali however, said that he will bat at number 3 and Imam will be playing which means that Haris Sohail will have to sit out. There is also a possibility of Mohammed Abbas featuring in the playing 11.
