@qiqi-power Embodies Fitness - Just Engage LIFE!!

Living a life close to the earth really provides
an extensive array of possibilities for staying physically fit.
At the @gardenofeden, we don't have gym memberships,
lift weights, do cardio, go out for a run, or any of the other things
that most people do for keeping their bodies in tip top shape.
We also don't belong to sport teams or go out to sporting events,
but use what we already have to our advantage.

It's kind of sad to think that many people only have
an extra flight of stairs to climb on their way to work,
or can park their car at the end of the lot and walk a few more steps
as their daily physical challenge without
a specific trip to the gym or belonging to a sporting team.  

We are grateful that our daily lives at the @gardenofeden engage our bodies
in ways that incorporate challenges to our fitness levels.
A sport for us is however we move our bodies
and participate with each other in purposeful play.

@qiqi-power naturally chooses activities that keeps her strong and agile.
For a 6 year old girl, she has not only incredible strength, balance and stamina,
she is also fast, competent and extremely capable.

While out in the garden picking greens, she balances along the edges of the tires,
jumping from one tire.  
She takes the opportunity to hang upside down
and pull herself around on a metal trellis hoop,
testing her strength and stretching her muscles.

She runs to a nearby tree, scales up the trunk, walks along the branches,
hangs, does yoga poses, and increases her balance and awareness of her capabilities.

@qiqi-power is not afraid to climb high.  
She has been perfecting her skills since she was very young,
and never gets herself into anything she cannot get herself out of.  
She tunes in and asks herself how confident she feels
about the action she is about to take, and trusts and follows her intuition.  

When watching someone interact with their environment like QiQi does,
it's obvious why her physical capabilities are extremely high.  
She takes the opportunity to engage her body in action,
and makes use of what is available to her to keep her body feeling ALIVE!!

These are just a few tiny moments of @qiqi-power's day.
This and way way WAY more is available to her 24/7.  

She needs no special equipment, no special training, no uniforms,
no memberships, no lighting/ac/heat, or car or gas to get her anywhere.
She already has a team, support and guidance because she lives in community.

QiQi is a joyously active child and sets an incredible example
of how to really live in a body,
simply by engaging it.

I hope @qiqi-power inspires you to move your body.
She's an inspiration for us everyday!
