A tip-toe up the Tip Track
This week I changed tack a little I my training. I went out and ran slowly, on purpose.
That’s not easy for me to do. My nature is such that I always try to push hard, to go a bit faster. But that is not really working out too well in the ultra-marathons that I’m doing. So it’s time to change my strategy slightly.
So this week I took to the hills around Wellington to ‘get my hills in’. And instead of pounding my way up, breathless and staggering to a halt half way, I instead focused on keeping my heart rate down and just plodding up.
Check out the video and see how that turned out.
