College Football is only 12 days away!!!! It's time to break down the Major Conferences and rank each team. Let's get started with the strongest conference over the last decade, the SEC West.
SEC WEST:

1. Alabama - The runner up from the Championship is back with another phenomenal team. Head Coach,Nick Saban, is a recruiting machine and keeps bringing in the best talent in the country. They have the best defense and offense in the SEC. Jalen Hurts is back at quarterback and has his top 5 running backs with him. This offense will pound the running game and wear out every defense they face in the regular season. Bama will be back in the SEC Championship game and have the potential to win it all.

2. Auburn - 15 starters are back this year and they will make a ton of noise. They have the second best offense in the SEC and have their top 4 running backs and their quarterback back! They will also have one of the best defenses in the SEC. Auburn’s running game will give them a shot at being undefeated going into their Home Game vs Alabama on November 25th.

3. LSU - Leonard Fornette is gone and in the NFL but their leading rusher from last year is back! Derrius Guice ran for over 1,400 yards last year. They will be in every game and should reach 10 wins. LSU’s schedule though is brutal. They play 5 SEC road games and that will be the real test.

4. Texas A&M - Head Coach, Kevin Sumlin, is an offensive genius. Although quarterback Trevor Knight is gone, their offense has wide receiver Christian Kirk back who was a beast in 2016. They also return running back Traveon Williams who ran for over 1,000 yards last year.

5. Arkansas - Austin Allen is back at quarterback and that will bode well for the Razorbacks. Last year he threw 25 touchdowns and over 3,400 yards. Head Coach, Bret Bielema always has a great running game and this year will be no different as Devwah Whaley will become the feature back.

6. Ole Miss - There will be no bowling this year for the Rebels. They have a self imposed bowl ban and are ineligible for postseason play. With quarterback Chad Kelly gone, along with their top 2 running backs and top 2 wide receivers, points will be hard to come by this year. Head Coach, Hugh Freeze, has his hands full. It will be a challenging season to say the least.

7. Mississippi State - There is some talent left for the Bulldogs as Nick Fitzgerald is back at quarterback. But their defense is weak and they will have to out score their opponents and average +35 points a game to having a successful season. They have a brutal 3 game stretch against LSU, Georgia and Auburn to start conference play. An above .500 record in the SEC will be an impressive feat.
I will breakdown the SEC East tomorrow and find out who I have Alabama playing in the conference championship game! Please tell me what you think of my Rankings and follow @steemsports and catch me @scottybuckets Cheers!

I'm guessing Florida or Georgia in the East

I think this sport is called rugby instead of football.

"looks like mommas wrong again. "

ILL... INI!!
SEC SUCKS!

Awe smack!!!!! Im in chicago!

I think your pick with Auburn is a good one coming in second. It is really Alabama and everyone else! I think auburn will be sneaky good.

As far as the East goes, I think it is going to be a close race!

Thank you for reading. Auburn is scary good and will run for +200 yards a game easy.

I love it when a small school can upset the bigger money hungry schools.

Ditto, I love the underdog

Just a reminder,,,,Hugh Freeze stepped down from the Ole Miss job a few weeks ago.

Ah yes, their program is in shambles. It seemed fishy when they were getting all of those stud recruits 5 years ago after being awful.

I think Auburn is a team to watch this year. Hopefully they will have a couple of soft spreads so we can cash in on them prior to the Bama game.
