Buffalo Bills – 2017-18 NFL Season Analysis
New General Manager In Town
Buffalo Bills hired former Carolina Panthers assistant general manager Brandon Beane as the 13th General Manager in Bills history, at age 40. Bills’ Owner & CEO Terry Pegula on Brandon Beane: “Brandon has excelled in a variety of roles for a Panthers team that has consistently competed at a high level in this league.”
With a new GM in town, the team brought in an entirely new coaching staff. Beane named Sean Mcdermott as the new head coach for the Bills. Mcdermott was the defensive coordinator for Carolina Panthers since 2011.
On Aug. 11, GM Beane made two big trades with the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles, before, Bills traded wide receiver Sammy Watkins and their 2018 sixth-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Rams. Bills received cornerback E.J. Gaines and a 2018 second draft pick.
Bills traded cornerback Ronald Darby to the Eagles for receiver Jordan Matthews and a third-round draft pick in 2018.
Bills’ 2018 NFL Draft Picks — following Watkins, Darby trades:
Two first round selections — original pick, pick acquired in Pat Mahomes trade.
Two second round selections — original pick, pick acquired in Watkins trade.
Two third round picks — original pick, pick acquired in Ronald Darby trade.

RB Mike Gillislee
Biggest Strength: Defensive Line
Starters: DE Jerry Hughes, DT Kyle Williams, DT Marcell Dareus, DE Shaq Lawson.
DTs Kyle Williams and DT Marcell Dareus are both elites at their respective positions. Bills’ 2016 first round selection DE Shaq Lawson will look to have a breakout season. DE Jerry Hughes is one of the highest paid defensive ends in the NFL, rounding out this impressive defensive line.
Player to Watch: LeSean McCoy
Now that RB Mark Gillislee is on the Patriots, expect more production from LeSean “Shady” McCoy. McCoy has the abilities to take over a football game on any given Sunday.
The 29-year-old running back recently told Bleacher Report, “I think I’m the best back in the league. I can catch the ball, I run routes, I’m a mismatch for defenses. I run the ball inside and run the ball outside. One man can’t tackle me. I find a way to get it done.”
No running back has had more yards than McCoy since he entered the league in 2009. McCoy is only 3,046 rushing yards short of 12,000 career rushing yards.
Bill’s 2017 Draft Class
Round 1, 27th Overall: Tre’Davious White — CB, LSU
Round 2, 37th Overall: Zay Jones — WR, ECU
Round 2, 63rd Overall: Dion Dawkins — G, Temple
Round 5, 163rd Overall: Matt Milano — LB, Boston College
Round 5, 171st Overall: Nathan Peterman — QB, Pittsburgh
Round 6, 195th Overall: Tanner Vallejo — LB, Boise State
Prediction: Bill’s will finish with a 7-9 record.

I like your break down, of the teams, you going to do all of them. Sammy would be a good fantasy pick if he would ever be on a good team...
Yes. We are doing a countdown to Week 1. Every team will be analyzed. I agree, Sammy Watkins has a ton of potential in the NFL.Thanks for stopping by.

BILLS MAFIA!!
LETS GO, BILLS TO THE SUPERBOWL!
Jordan Matthews could be a great addition to this team. I agree, McCoy has the ability to take over the Bills backfield and put up some big numbers if the o-line can provide for him. Nice post @mikebuch
Adding Jordan Matthews and Anquan Boldin could be better than Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods ... but losing a lot of secondary could send them backwards although they added Micah Hyde and the first round CB...if something happens with McCoy, not having Gillislee will really hurt them.
WR Zay Jones looks like the real deal too
In the end they still don't have a great QB so we'll see how those receivers do... maybe Tyrod will break out.. it's a shame to see Watkins go but who knowssss... great post @mikebuch
