Europa League, the final, Olympique Marseille vs. Atletico Madrid
Am Mittwoch das große Finale der Europaleague zwischen Olympique Marseille und Atletico Madrid.
On Wednesday the grand finale of the Europaleague between Olympique Marseille and Atletico Madrid.

Das große Finale in Lyon (Frankreich). Für mich ist Atletico Madrid der Favorit in diesem Spiel. Die Mannschaft aus Madrid hat sehr viel Erfahrung im Europapokal und spielt taktisch sehr diszipliniert. Die Abwehr steht sehr gut und sie bekommen in den meisten Spielen kein Gegentor. Marseille mit gutem Offensivfußball, aber in der Abwehr sehr anfällig für Gegentore. Auch im Halbfinale ist Marseille nur durch viel Glück und einer Fehlentscheidung der Schiedsrichter eine Runde weiter gekommen. Ich tippe 1:0 für Atletico Madrid.
The grand finale in Lyon (France). For me Atletico Madrid is the favorite in this game. The team from Madrid have a lot of experience in the European Cup and play tactically very disciplined. The defense is very good and they get no goal in most games. Marseille with good offensive football, but very vulnerable in the defense against goals. Even in the semi-finals Marseille has come only by good luck and a mistake of the referee a round next. I guess 1-0 for Atletico Madrid.

It should be a great Europa League final game. Playing in France might be small advantage for Marseille, but Atletico Madrid has a very strong team and probably the best goalkeeper in the world with Jan Oblak.

Atletico indeed is the favorite but I wouldn't underestimate Marseille. For them it would be a great chance to win the European Cup in France! Not many team who can lift the trophy in their own country!

I don't underestimate Marseille but I think the tactical cleverness is not enough to beat Atletico. Sure it's a great chance to get the cup in their own country but I don't see a really chance.

Madrid hat auf jeden Fall eine megastarke Abwehr. Bis jetzt haben die in der Liga nur 20 Tore bekommen, aus 37 Spielen und damit die wenigsten.

So sieht's aus. Hinten Beton und vorn genug Qualität immer 'ne Bude zu machen. Deshalb bin ich auch bei 1:0 mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit von 90% oder so.

Ich denke auch. Olympique hat in der Liga mehr als doppelt so viele Tore bekommen, bei gleicher Anzahl Spielen. Hat zwar auch mehr geschossen, jedoch herrscht zwischen der französischen und der spanischen Liga, meiner Meinung nach, doch noch ein Niveauunterschied.

Der Fehler zum 1:0 war der Genickbruch für Marseille und danach war die Sache durch.

I think Atletico will win the final. Even though Marseille might have a home advantage, I see Atletico as the strongest team. I will guess 2-1 for Atletico
Ich denke, Atletico wird das Finale gewinnen. Obwohl Marseille vielleicht einen Heimvorteil hat, sehe ich Atletico als das stärkste Team. Ich schätze 2:1 für Atletico.
I don't see a home advantage for Marseille because both teams get the same number of tickets and the people of Lyon hate Marseille.

Kann eventuell sein, daß Marseille mit seiner doch recht starken Offensive 'ne Bude macht. Eigentlich ist für mich aber das Atletico-Standartergebnis, also 1:0, wie in Stein gemeißelt.
