  Senegal and Algeria will define on July 19 the winner of a tournament – in the prediction we defined the favourite.

Senegal

  The national team of Senegal did not experience any difficulties at a group stage – having broken through in the playoffs from the second place. Convincing victories over Tanzania (2:0) and Kenya (3:0) emphasized superiority of "lions of Terangi" over outsiders. However, with Algeria, contrary to all forecasts, the Aliou Cissé team lost in a duel 0:1, having allowed the competitor to win group.
  In the playoffs Senegal did not show flashing soccer – at first in a difficult match Uganda was beaten with the score 1:0, then just with the same account Benin fell. In a semi-final Senegalese met Tunisia and in the main time on defined the winner – the goalless draw obliged teams to play 30 more minutes. Following the results of extra-times Senegal was stronger - thanks to an own goal it reached the final.

Algeria

  The national team of Algeria at a group stage was absolutely the best – in nine points Jamel Belmadi's team won group. After the victories over Kenya (2:0) and Senegal (1:0) permit in the playoffs "green" were already won, but in the last tour of turns they did not begin to reduce and beat Tanzania with the score 3:0.
  Guinea in 1/8 finals for Algerians a problem did not become – the victory 3:0 once again emphasized claims "green" on a trophy. The quarterfinal match with Côte d'Ivoire after a draw 1:1 in the main time flowed in a penalty series following the results of which Algeria broke through further.
  Also the final match with Tunisia turned out difficult – a game had to pass into extra-times again, but the magnificent goal from penal Riyad Marez did not allow it to happen – Algeria won 2:1 and reached the final.

  The national team of Senegal is staffed with very qualified football players from whom main thing is Sadio Manet, but neither ten Liverpool, nor all team in general show qualitative soccer.
