Boston Sports having a Great Night!

A come from behind win for the Red Sox to tie the series at 1 game a piece with the Astros. While the Patriots held for dear life to escape a win against Kansas City.

For the past two nights I feel the Sox starters have been struggling. Not a good sign as the series continues but hope both Sales and Price get out of their bad funk soon. Sales performances against the Yankees fared better. Hopefully his next go around against the Astros will also be better.

The Sox bats were awake tonight and came up with several innings scoring runs. Although the Sox lead most of the game it always felt that the lead could have been squandered many times. I guess this is typical when you have the two best regular season most wins teams play together. Can not wait for game 3 where Dallas Keuchel for Astros and either Rick Porcello or Nathan Eovaldi for Red Sox.

That Patriots game versus Kansas City will be one that will be talked about for many weeks to come. After watching that I do feel like the next time these two teams will meet will likely be at the AFC championship game and KC will host. Even though I am a Pats fan the KC team manage to almost win the game without key players on defense. While Patriots although not fully at 100% but the majority of players that needed to play were available.

The first half looked like Pats would run away with the game. Somehow the second half was where Patriots offense let the KC team come back. It was pretty much an offense versus offense all night. If it weren't for a couple of KC mistakes they would have likely won the game. It is insane to see Mahomes as a first year full time QB was able to recover so well from the first half.

Funny how although I felt KC is the better team it never fazed me to see the Pats trailing when Brady had the ball. As usual he comes back and makes miracles happen. Although tonight's miracle was not amazing compared to his many others, it is still one that will be talked about for days if not weeks. The final 2 minutes and able to drive the ball all the way back to almost score but settle for a field goal.

That last touchdown by KC I feel was a fluke. Pats defense still looks shaky even with many veterans playing. Hopefully in the weeks to come they can play the full 60 minutes while minimizing mistakes.

I still can not believe the high scoring game but then again it was mean to be as likely two of the best offenses were playing tonight. Just to think if Mahomes did not throw the two picks in the first half and were touchdowns dang! And the first few field goals were touchdown instead, OMG. They were able to score 31 points in the second half! Just amazing.
