Wrong job?

When things get tough at work, I stick it out, and try and right the ship, but what if you could be traded? What if you were like Na I don't want to work here trade me.... That is what is happening with a lot of professional athletes these days, and I was just thinking how it would correlate to the real world work place. I could not figure it out, all I got is people might trade staplers and reams of paper as part of the deal, instead of draft picks and cash. Biggest trade news is Anthony Davis, wants out, and probably wants to head the L.A. So it begs the question do sports teams have a problem? I would say ya the owners have no control, players have it all. Now if you look at the New England patriots they have a couple key guys, but they rotate their roster, and it seems they never have a problem with players that want out, mostly because if they do they will get someone else. So I wonder if that would be the correct model of building a team. They do seem to be in the Super Bowl a lot. ...... 8face4bf-fda9-4585-8fce-19d456e2fe5d-2019-01-24_Anthony_Davis1.jpg

Different sports bro. You are comparing apples and oranges. One individual player has much more of an impact on the game in the NBA than they do in the NFL, outside of the QB. Most every other position is replaceable, which is why you don't see the same leverage/power.

What about the spurs than, they have a top 5 player leave, and still at the top of the western conference.

You can find anomalies and other randomness if you look hard enough, that doesn't change the overall picture though.

ya, I just want to be traded, see what my value is. HAHAH

Interesting thought, but the major difference is the fact that you, as a worker, will only be traded if anyone wants you. And in this case, I´m 100% sure Anthony Davis doesn't want to go for a team which stays out of the playoffs.

Very likely he is already signing for the Lakers!

Ah, I don't know people might be shying away from lebron as the player/coach/gm/lebron's biggest fan.
