Tiger Woods sees his name in the top spot at a major - by @thedogekid
Tiger Woods leads at a Major for the first time since 2012.
The fact that Tiger took the lead during the Open Championship was a very big deal.
It was something that he hasn't done since the second round of the 2012 US Open.
If you recall, Tiger hasn't won't a major since the 2008 US Open when he won in a playoff at Torey Pines with a broken leg.
Seriously, his leg was broken and he played a golf tournament on it.
I won't get into how many shots he probably had to get him out there, but you do what you gotta do I guess.
Back to the Open...
This is by far the best golf Tiger has played since all the turmoil erupted in his personal life.
He had been trending in the right direction much of 2018, playing well in several other tournaments.
Doctors even said that they didn't think he would be able to swing the golf club like he is currently with the type of fusion spinal surgery he had.
Not only is he playing great golf, but he has the speed and power that made him so dominant oh so many years ago.
The final chapter of Tiger hasn't been written yet, but his second act appears like it will be almost just as exciting as his first act.

This was a good step for Tiger. I'm sure for him to see his name on top of the leaderboard during a major tournament meant a lot even when everyone else wants nothing short of a win.
