Beautiful Day Fishing ~ Homesteading ~ Working On Websites
My wife and I got a monster bass at a crystal clear spring fed lake near our homestead just the day before she was going in to induce labor for our baby.
We were told to exercise and walk a lot to help induce the pregnancy and that is just what we did. We fished all day at this beautiful lake, catching our dinner.
We had brought lunch with us and cooked it on the SilverFire Hunter survival wood gassifier stove. This is an amazing stove which allows you to cook an entire meal on just a handful of sticks or other flammable materials.
The meal turned out pretty awesome too. All the more so because we ate it by the lake while fishing.
Back at the homestead I worked on my websites because Google made some changes in how to get your website on the search results and I had fallen behind. I run my own sites for some extra ad income which helps pay the bills on the homestead.

The homesteaders I watch show pantries of processed food from their land. trog only has 3 tubs of filthy deer corn to feed his family. He can't show inside the freezers because they would only show a few chickens and lots of pizzas and instant foods

Troy, it looks like you guys had a lot of fun putting some fish in the freezer. It looks like some healthy fish at that. This summer my teenage Son and Daughter did a bit of Bass fishing and some Flyfishing as well. It is always great spending time in God's Great Outdoors and it looks like you had a fantastic time.

We have some beautiful land out here with water everywhere.
I would like to go fishing,, I do not really like fisk,, so I really do not need to catch anything. But a good chair, cold beer and a laptop with wifi,, every fishermans dream,, or mine.

He claimed that the lake is "shallow" so he doesn't need them.
He also uses an electric trolling motor and refuses to register the motorized craft.
He claims he digs worms from his compost pile, but never shows it, then says he had to buy more just in case.
Reid also likes to drink "near beer" (as you can see in the thumbnail photo) but claims he doesn't "drink".

You didn't show if the battery box is finished.
Are the batteries frozen?
You didn't show who built the wooden stand.

So you installed the LP camping stove in its place.
Where's is the LP fuel line and connection?

Yep, same ol same ol. He never thought about how unreliable solar is in Upper Michigan winters. Barely running a night light and his batteries are drained so he will use grid power to charge them up.
