DWINDLING SUPPLY

As someone willing to both buy and sell for a good deal I'm not complaining there are so few of some cards that people are having to buy them at all time highs. This card has almost no supply and with new players there is still demand.

As you can see just about a month ago it was under 40 cents and now it's gone up almost 5 times in value.

This isn't the only card it's happened to. I've been selling cards in both beta and alpha sets left and right for the last few days. The volume hasn't increased that much... what has happened is the sellers aren't around anymore.

WHERE ARE THE SELLERS?

Did they all decide to rent their cards? If so then that's understandable... that's mostly what I did.
However I doubt it... i think there are a few people out there sitting on lots of cards who just didn't know the prices were skyrocketing.

Well this is your wake up call.

BULK LISTING ON PEAKMONSTERS

There's no way the supply is gonna go back up unless people jump on https://peakmonsters.com and start listing. And yes we are biased towards our own product but sellers are going to have to use Peakmonsters because it supports BULK listings.

We have seen that many of the new users have no clue peakmonsters exists and that takes a big hit on the market for listings because Splinterlands/steemmonsters do NOT allow for bulk listings of cards. You have to list them one by one.

To me this whole situation makes sense... on splinterlands you can buy multiple cards at a time (but you can't mix and match card types) but you can't list multiple cards at a time... that UI experience will have an impact on pricing because it will and has led to more buying than selling.

Even on peakmonsters the json limit only allows about 25 listings compared to 45 buys on a single transaction. (we're really hoping this is fixed by steemit or other developers soon)

BULK SELLING MIXED CARDS

We changed the interface a few months ago you can now even mix and match cards and list them.

And don't forget shift click.

You don't have to click the cards one by one... you can select a whole page of cards and go to sell them. It's actually a pretty quick process.

People apparently really want to play and would rather buy than rent cards so they're paying the prices.

THE NEW USER CONUNDRUM

a new player who joins Splinterlands and isn't familiar with Steem and doesn't use Discord has ZERO way of knowing Peakmonsters exists. It's an issue but there's not a way of us telling them it exists. Unless splinterlands wants to mention the Bid/Rental market on their site.

All the old time players and people active on discord are almost all using peakmonsters... the names of people I see buying my cards using steemmonsters i've never heard of before (which is awesome) and they're not using Discord and i'm guessing they don't blog on steem either.
