It's not an easy task writing a post in this days. I'm new to steem but I understand how much delicate is the situation. But I also think that the only thing I can do as a 'small fish' (besides voting for witnesses) is...

KEEP BATTLING HARD !! ⚔️⚔️😎

So this week we meet his majesty DIVINE SORCERESS.

It is quite stimulant to me because as a relatively new player I still play only few splinters, and life is not among them. So I had to figure out a strategy and then renting the necessary cards.

Card analysis

Divine sorceress is a really nice low-mana-high-magic-attack card. It turns out to be an excellent midfielder, doing both attacking and defending stuffs.

Well, there are several other low-mana-high-magic-attack cards out there. All optimum cards:

So Divine Sorceress is not a 'one in a kind' girl. Neither a 'game changer' card. It is quite difficult to find a battle where she shines.. But after playing A LOT of matches (R.I.P. capture rate) I can say she helped me winning in most of them.

We have a flexible card here, low-mana, strong attack, solid defense, useful in almost every game.

Card usage

Yes, the first useful usage is in "little league" matches, considering that there are only 1 magic reflect (Failed Summoner) and 1 void (Animated Corpse) monster playable in the game with mana <= 4.
So paired with Defender of truth, an arrow king such as peacebringer and some healers or repairers forms a front-attacking-team really strong to beat in little leagues.

But I wanted to make it more fun.

To best using this card we have to valorize its ability, and best way to valorize "Divine Shield" is to using it twice, resurrecting it.

The Match

I managed to use Divine Sorceress as a 3 mana filler in a high mana resurrecting match and using it to attack the opposite tank and as a defense from snipers and opportunities.
Actually, it took me a while to have such a high-mana healing-legendaries-life allowed match, but in the end I got it!! 🥴🥴🥴

Mana cap: 31
Splinters: ALL

On its last 5 battles, my opponent @broxi mainly played heart splinter, and given those game rules I expected him to play the flying and protecting Spirit of the forest and in general an heart-sniping game. Then I thought: 'Sorceress I choose you!' lemme see how good a you and how good your shield is!

My tank. Not expecting huge attack on him, very powerful in attack with both piercing and trample ability.

Our lady. All snipers and opportunity attacks will hit her.

Protect ability ensures one more turn of earthquake and some armor to resurrected guys

As a last thing I want to point out that this kind of battle not happens so often. To play like this there are only a limitate range of game modes and mana cap. So yes, it's a nice story, but let's play the sorceress in low-mana and little league matches. She rocks there! 🧙🏼‍♀️🎸
