Splinterlands weekly challenge and this week theme is Silvershield Assassin.

Life is not my favorite splinter, but not most unliked as well. In some certain rule sets Life is very strong and definitely Silvershield Assassin was great addition as reward card with it's three abilities starting from Level 5. Just as I need with my level 5 summoners

The card is very poverful in certain rulesets, like Melee Mayhem or Only Melee monsters. Sneak ability is perfect to eliminate opponents last line. Only the issue is high mana cost, thats why the card is really usable in high mana battles mostly

So let's go to the fight.

FIGHT. Fog of War + Melee Mayhem + 24 Mana

Life is always good in Melee Mayhem due to additional armor protection. Opponent loses quite a lot of hits first trying to get through it. Well, unless uses Water with heavy magic, so nothing is so obvious...

Here is final line-up based on idea to use Melee monsters only

• Crystal Werewolf. Great low mana card. Counting the opponent may use magic, it well reduces the power
• Cocatrice. Very good ability of avoiding attacks, sometimes makes real miracles, very unexpected
• Furious Chicken. Very low mana, but even more perfect for Melee Mayhem
• Sacred Unicorn. Not too much often used Legendary card. It is much better at 1st level, and less better at higher levels, except Melee Mayhem
• Silvershield Assasin. And here we go with the topic of the week. Had to sacrifice sneak ability, counting on other two abilities advantage
• Armorsmith. And yet additional armor recovery could be much of help to keep tank alive, while card still can attack as per present fight conditions

Well, opponent tried to use certain magic forces with healer. Crystal Werewolf was right choice at first round. Cocatrice earned two misses. And finally double strike of Silvershield Assassin and armor recovery leaded to the victory
