MEDITATION MYTH 101:

It's commonplace misperception that during meditation you are somehow supposed to "stop thinking."

The mind thinks and it's only doing what it was beautifully designed to do. It's just doing its thing, so good luck in trying to shut it off as that may require a lobotomy.

Meditation is simply detaching and becoming the role of the "observer," watching the minds patterns and methods so then outside of meditation you are clearly then able to separate yourself from the mind, no longer falsely believing you are controlled by its neurotic episodes in daily life.

In other words, it's a practice in learning to become quite skilled in deciphering when it's just your mind doing its thing, and realizing that what the mind does is "outside of you," and then quickly detaching and releasing yourself from it, thus making your life a hell of a lot less stressful.

Ironically the more you try and "stop thinking" during meditation the more you will actually think... just let the mind do its thing. There's nothing wrong with thinking. Just observe it for the insane comedy show it is.

Meditation can be a hell a lot more relaxing if you just chill homie and let that shit gooooo....ohm 🙏🏼.
