Servitors are to me, one of the most fascinating part of chaos magick. Servitors are thought forms we create to fulfill a specified intention. Magickal practicioners usually make a servitor for healing, protection, love, and to help with their rituals or spell work. Here is a guide to creating and maintaining a servitor.

1. Set your intention for what the servitor is to do. It is good to start off with a general topic such as healing and go into specifics of certain mental or physical conditions you want the servitor to heal.

2. Give your servitor character traits that coincide with their intended use. The process of giving the thought form character traits brings them closer to you. This makes the servitor have a stronger presence on the astral plane.
   

3. Create a way to summon your servitor. This could be a gesture, a chant, drawing a sigil or any other way that YOU are comfortable with.

4. Create a space where your servitors reside until you need them. This can include your closet, a drawer or under your bed. Wherever you decide your servitor will be when they are in rest mode is where they will be in the astral plane. So they will be under your bed in the astral reflection of your room.

5. Decide how long your servitor will serve you and what will happen to them after they are done serving you. This could be in a type of retirement space or just have them roaming the astral plane.

6. Create a name for your servitor. This could be an already existing name or an original one. This can be done at any point of the creation process and is totally up to you to decide.
