SPIRITUAL FOOD 4 THOUGHT - DON'T RAISE YOUR CHILDREN AS IF THEY ARE CHRISTIANS
Unfortunately, many believers raise their children as if they already are believers.
When a child grows up thinking that they already are a believer, then they really have no reason to ever be saved. It is a common problem, but many never stop to consider the damage that it can do.
In reality, we are raising sinful little rebels who are in need of a Saviour. When we raise them as such, we set them up for realizing their need. When we raise them as if they already are believers, then they have no need. Hopefully this is some good food for thought.

You are right! They need to seek real salvation, and not assume they have some form of inherited salvation!

I totally agree with you on this, it's a grave mistake that has cost us a lot of things for both parent and the children.
Here, when a child is growing up, he's quickly settled into the children church and joins the choir there, everyone thinks he's saved but no, he's only a Christian by going to church and working, physically, he's not a Christian by heart.
This are some salient dangerous things in Christianity that sadly, hasn't been checked.

I never thought of it like that. But I think it would make sense that that kind of teaching is partly responsible for all this lukewarm Christianity that we see.
It may be a contributing factor. I was just on the phone with someone who always thought he was saved growing up.
