SPIRITUAL FOOD 4 THOUGHT - DIVORCE IN THE BIBLE - WHAT IS ALLOWED vs. WHAT IS COMMANDED
Relationships can be difficult and marriage can be one of the toughest.
When things aren't going well, even believers can be tempted to look for a way out. In this video, we discuss th difference between what is allowed and what is actually commanded.
This is not meant to condemn anyone, but instead to encourage us to truly seek God's will within the context of marriage, a precious relationship that was His idea.
Some excellent examples presented here, thanks for diving into this subject a bit more! I will also agree with @ironshield in that we need to, everyday, seek what is good in the eyes of our Lord!
There is a big difference between the will of God and the permissible ordinances given to us because of our hard hearts. We must make our goal to seek what is good in the eyes of God, according to His good word.
Indeed marriage needs timely planned by both the couples before they enter into. Calamities may emerge if both the man and woman have misunderstanding after the counselling.
I agree. Folks are too quick to divorce on grounds of adultery. I remember an evangelist called Paul Washer to talked of courtship and saving the kiss for marriage. I shared the previous divorce video with my mom. Thanks @papa-pepper.
