'Your Level of Being attracts your life: at a low Level of Being only a very poor world exists and only a very impoverished kind of life can be lived. He who limits himself to its lowest sides will inevitably "attract" a miserable life. If he can recognise nothing but "struggle for survival" and "will to power", his "world" will be one fitting Hobbe's description of the life of man as "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short"' (Schumacher 1977; citing Koestler and Smythies 1969).
