I said that we all deserved that - but for the grace of God. Jesus died on the cross to take what we deserve. If we didn't deserve that, then there was no need for Jesus to die on the cross. Without His death and resurrection, Christianity is a lie. I happen to believe that Christianity is the truth; there is enough historical evidence way beyond the evidence for anything else in history. But I once believed as you do, so I know where you are coming from. :-)
