Universal Music Language - #1 - Rihanna Diamonds In The Sky - Dedicated To Brian and Lynn
Hey Steem Fam,
I was listening to a new reggae song in Deezer then watching the video on Youtube earlier. My son put me on to it and I enjoyed it playing over and over while I finished up a post.
Then it was time to hit the new accountability group I signed up for on Sunday. I'd posted this week's focus and steps earlier this evening but didn't have a chance to read many of the participants plans for the week.
So I went back in, still listening to the reggae song looping over and over again.
Then I realized I wanted something else. I checked Deezer again, found a playlist I hadn't heard before and on it was my girl Rihanna singing Diamonds in the Sky.
Of course I wanted to see my Caribbean singing queen from sister island Barbados. I knew she'd be looking good and representing us well with some kewl dance moves.
So I've been rocking to this music video while encouraging some of the other participants in the accountability group.
Then I felt like sharing Rihanna's video here. I've been meaning to start a music series but haven't yet.
And just as I was grabbing a screen shot from the video for the post pic, Brian Courteau and his lovely story that I read and commented on earlier came to mind.
In his post, @briancourteau shared the story of how he found Buddy, an abandoned kitten grown in to a cat, at PetSmart. He had been there amazingly for two whole years!!!
Brian got him as a birthday gift for his wife Lynn (@lynncoyle1) and now Buddy is king of their home. Of course.
Brian is such a diamond. His love and authenticity and humanity is in his eyes and his writing. He and Lynn share a very special love and I dedicate this 'Diamonds In the Sky' song to them both.
I told Brian earlier that he is surrounded by Angels. What I now realize I should have added is that he has always been surrounded by Angels.
Brian has been and is still courageously fighting cancer. He's in pain now and is finding it hard to eat, talk or move his tongue. I wish him peace, comfort, freedom from pain and Angel Blessings and joy overflowing.
And I wish Lynn tenderness, comfort, peace, overflowing joy and lifelong Angel Blessings.
I hope you both enjoy this song, Brian and Lynn. Maybe Buddy will too and he and Lynn can dance to it together.

PS EDIT:
I mentioned in the post that Brian is experiencing a lot of pain. Part of that is because he and Lynn are unable to get the painkillers and prescriptions Brian needs.

Due to the increased pain recently, it is again being used to funnel funds to Brian and Lynn in Mexico to help cover these immediate medical supplies.

I am amazed and I want to thank you so much for not only doing this but being a friend here. Please read my older poems and I hope you understand my fight because your song is hitting home. Angels and yes i believe in them if you read my older posts to Lynn. I will never forget this and people lke you are the reason I fight.....much love
Brian, I'm so happy you enjoyed the song. I just felt like I HAD to get it up tonight, which was weird in itself, since I'd just earlier posted another blog. But energy just started pouring through and I kept quietly praying.
And then when it came to dedicate it to you and Lynn, that felt so right. I made sure to listen again to see if it even fit, my mind trying to get in the way... and I just felt my heart's GO, said YESSSS, this is for them.
I will read all your older poems, no matter how long it takes. I'm sure they'll give me your why but I already know that you are Life, so you want to live. It shines forth from your eyes, but much more importantly, from your very being. You are a Blessed man. And I say that without knowing much about you. I just sense things and I sense and have always sensed that.
And tonight, earlier, when I mentioned it at the end of that comment, my Angels insisted that I pass on that message... and in the post that I clarify further. You are an Angel person. Not sure if that will make sense to you. But I stopped myself from saying it in the post but have to say it here.
You are Well Loved and Well Known by our Angelic, Cosmic, Ascended and Galactic Masters and Friends. Well known and Truly Loved. You are Creator, Dear Friend.

Thanks, @zuckerzombie. The song was a gift the Universe wanted delivered to both Brian and Lynn. I was questioning 'why' and why the rush mostly all the way. But I've learned to just 'deliver' the message whatever form it takes and ignore the inner doubting and questioning. ;)
