No God is worthy of worship and a true God would never request it, require it, nor desire it.
To be a God would require one to be free of vanity, jealousy, anger and all other human attributes that prevent one from reaching enlightenment.
Yet all of these are attributes described explicitly in your scriptures and attributed to the God of all the abrahamic religions. Thus those who worship at that altar do not really worship God.
They've just been manipulated into worshiping a false idol. An anthropomorphism handed down to them from bronze age myths by their ancestors who were guillable enough to cede their will to the will of someone else. Which by the way is something cautioned against strongly in all scriptures.
To believe in that requires one to discount any narrative which is internally inconsistent. It cannot be one way one time and one place and another way in a different time and a different place, if your God is truly yesterday, today and forever.
So my advice, quit worrying what others believe and seek truth for yourself first.
I strongly disagree. Yet I respect your right to believe as such.
I am a strong believe in GOOD IDEAS DO NOT REQUIRE FORCE.
If you must use force to get people to follow any religion, or to silence those that disagree then it likely wasn't a good idea.
I find too many obviously written by arrogant human parts to Islam, Christianity, and most organized religions.
You can worship who you want. I won't be worshipping anyone. Even if there is a creator I do not believe in worship. Nothing should need me to prostrate myself and bow to them. This smacks of arrogance, ego, and human frailty. If I am smacked down for it or sent to some hell... so be it. I will not let someone terrorizing me with fear for my soul convince me to prostrate and worship something either.
Also... which denomination of Islam is true?
I ask this of Christians too by the way. If Christianity is the word of God, then which of the 60,000+ denominations of Christianity in U.S. (at the time I started saying that) is speaking the true word of God.
I can say the same about Islam. Which one is the true word of God, for there are factions in Islam that fight among each other over that just as there are in Christianity.
