¿Tiene sentido esa rara costumbre de mirarnos en el espejo del otro?

Mirarnos en el espejo del otro, es negarnos a nosotros mismos. No tiene sentido compararnos con el otro. Nadie es una fiel copia de nadie, tampoco estamos diseñados para ser el remedo de otro. Compararnos con otros, en algún punto nos traerá amargura o banalidad.

¿Does it make sense, that weird habit of looking at ourselves, in the mirror of the other?

To look at ourselves in the mirror of the other is denying ourselves. It does not make sense to compare ourselves with the other. No one is a faithful copy of anyone, nor are we designed to be the shadow of other. To compare ourselves with others, at some point will bring bitterness or banality.

Cada quien tiene una identidad propia. Ser tu mismo, implica mirarse en tu propio espejo, aceptarse, amarse, y partir de ahí, trabajar en la mejor expresión de ti mismo.

Everyone has their own identity. Being yourself implies looking at yourself in your own mirror, accepting yourself, loving yourself, and starting from there, working on the best expression of yourself.
