Quería Que Supieran - I Wanted You To Know

Este post lo redactaré tanto en español como en inglés, de esa forma podré dar a entender de mejor manera el punto al que quiero llegar. La redacción en inglés estará más abajo

I will write this post both in spanish and english, that way I could give to understand my point. The english version will be after of the spanish version.

Como ya lo dije en mi post de introduceyourself, pueden verlo aquí si desean, me llamo Nicolás Requena, tengo 22 años y recién culminé la carrera de Ingeniería Electrónica, soy algo sarcástico y bastante curioso. 

El objetivo de este post es dar a conocer que, de ahora en adelante los post que publique estarán escritos en inglés y en español. Les explicó: Primero vendrá la parte en español y seguido aquella en inglés, habrá alguno que otro post que será totalmente en español o totalmente en inglés.

"Nicolás, ¿por qué harías algo así?"

Me gusta conocer gente nueva, sin son de diferente país mucho mejor. Aprendo mucho acerca de la cultura y la forma de ser de las personas, y hasta ahora no he tenido ninguna mala experiencia. Por esa razón me gustaría poder llegar a tantas personas sea posible. Vine aquí a crecer y conocer gente.

Una Breve Historia

Algo más que deberían saber es que, a pesar de nacer en Venezuela y llevar toda mi vida hablando castellano, ME ENCANTA EL INGLÉS. Es algo que ha estado en mí desde pequeño, y por alguna razón se me ha hecho muy fácil. Es un aprendizaje de toda una vida (tampoco es que haya sido muy larga), recuerdo que simplemente con ciertas palabras que veía en caricaturas se complementaban con lo que aprendía en las clases de inglés de primaria.  Luego subí de nivel, y aprendí a ver series y películas subtituladas. 

Más o menos en esa misma época (nueve años de edad) comencé a escuchar música, me volví adicto a ella, y más del 50% de la que escuchaba era en inglés, con el tiempo ya no sólo aprendía nuevas palabras y frases, estaba aprendiendo a pronunciar.

Obviamente no podían faltar los mejores maestros de inglés que pueden haber...Los videojuegos. Qué hermosa fue la época en la que tuve mi Playstation 2. En fin, gracias a esto y a la música pude aprender mucho más y de forma más rápida. ¿Por qué? Simple, estamos haciendo algo que nos gusta, al disfrutarlo indirectamente nuestro subconsciente almacena información sin darnos cuenta, hasta llegar a un punto en el que vemos algo en inglés y entendemos que dice. Al menos eso fue mi caso con estos dos grandes maestros. 

Pero, no podía quedarme con esto nada más. Actualmente sólo veo películas o series que sólo estén subtituladas, algunas incluso las veo con subtitulos en inglés. 

Sólo Para Aclarar

No es que esté menospreciando el castellano, sino que de está forma no dejo de aprender y poner en práctica.  

En mi opinión personal, todo suena bastante genial en inglés, hasta insultar.  Y no, no he realizado ningún curso, todo lo he aprendido por mi cuenta. Y les aseguro que seré alguien dominará el idioma en un 100%.

Like I said in my introduceyourself post, you can visit it here, my name is Nicolás Requena, I'm 22 years old and recently I finish my carrer in Electronic Engineer, I'm a little sarcastic and pretty curious.

The objetive of this post is make to public knowlegde that, from now on, the post that I publish will be write in spanish and english. I'll explain it: First will come the spanish version and just after, the english version. It will came post that are going to be totally in spanish or totally in english.

"Nicolás, why would you do something like that?"

I like meet new people, if they're from a different country much better. I learn much about they culture and the way the people are, and until now I had not any bad experience. For that reason I would like to be able to reach as many people as possible. I came here to grow and meet new people.

A Short History

Something yuo should know is that, despite being born in Venezuela and spend all my life talking spanish, I LOVE ENGLISH. It's something that has been part of me since I was a child, and for some reason it has been easy to me. It's a lifelong learning (it's not that it was too long), I remember that only a few words that I saw in cartoons, complemented with the things I learned from the english class of primary school. Then I level up, and learn to see TV shows and movies with subtitles.

More or less in that time (nine years old) I start listening music, I became addict to it, and more of the 50% of it was in english, time pass and I not just learn new word and phrases, I was learning how to pronounce.

 Obviously it couldn’t miss one of the best English teachers that could exist…Videogames. What a beautiful time back there when I has my Playstation 2. Anyway, thanks to that and the music I could learn much more and much faster. Why? Simple, we’re doing something that we like, enjoying it makes that, on an indirect way, our subconscious store information without even notice, in some point we see something in English and we understand what it means. At least that was my case with this two great teachers. 

But, I couldn’t keep just with this. To the date I only watch movies or TV shows with subtitles, some of it even without any subtitle.  

Just To Be Clear

I’m not saying that Spanish is less than English, is just that of this way I can’t stop learning and put on me some practice. 

In my personal opinion, everything sounds cooler in English, even insult. And no, I haven’t done any certification, all the learning has been by my own. And I assure you that I will be someone that will learn the language on a 100%.
